Denim on Denim

by

I thought I’d show you how to do “denim on denim” in a slightly different way. Most people usually go for the blue tones but I thought I’d find a way to wear these new white mom jeans that I bought recently. Mom jeans are meant to  be high-waisted, less fitted and more relaxed, therefore, I would advise you to wear something shorter and more tight-fitting on top to avoid a slouchy look.

Wearing a basic bodysuit allows you to add layers to your outfit if it gets a bit chilly. It wouldn’t be a Denim on Denim outfit with this blue denim shirt I borrowed from my boyfriend’s closet. By wearing it off the shoulder makes the outfit seem more trendy, plus it looks cute!

For an outfit like this you’re probably going to want to reach for a pair of heels or something with a bit of height so that you don’t get lost in all that denim material. In this case I thought my black mules would compliment my black bodysuit and because they are not heels, I can walk in them all day.
