Porefection!

by

So as I stumbled out of the Winter season I couldn’t help but notice how terribly large my pores have become due to lack of care. Recently I haven’t been drinking as much water and green tea as I usually do because of certain interruptions in my usual routines. I find that when I don’t put in effort to regularly clean both on the inside and out, my skin reacts badly to my inconsistency and not only does it look bad, it makes me feel a bit self-conscious too.

But ladies, there is in fact a solution to this, a few actually.

  1. Cleanse your face twice a day – morning and night!
  2. Don’t be afraid of toner, it aids to minimize your pores!
  3. Invest in a good moisturizer and sun screen!
  4. Try out Maybelline’s new Lightweight Primer – Baby Skin!

Baby Skin Primer! With this product, it is my first time using a primer. At first I thought it was a hoax but once I tried it I was hooked! This pore erasing primer is a true gem that should be in every woman’s make up bag. I apply it with my finger tips and as I cover the areas of my face containing the most pores (my cheeks) it feels as if the solution disappears into nothing and it turns into the smoothest feeling. Once I am done creating a flawless base, I hop onto applying my foundation and all the rest. I wish it came in a bigger size!

The primer retails for R89 at Clicks. I have been using a mixture of foundations: Environ, Revlon and Mac (trying to use it before it all expires). Over this weekend I bought a new Maybelline foundation and its super lightweight, I love it! review soon x
